a new name
but it has nothing to do with the new year
It has been a long minute; several in fact.
I have been working on a multi-part series about how 2024 went for me (unemployment, debt, depression, drama), but first: this newsletter has a new name: SPACETIME & SOLITUDE!
Why Spacetime? I’m studying physics, I finally understand spacetime, and I can calculate actually things like time dilation and length contraction. I think it will also allow me to share what I’m learning, cool things happening in the science world, and eludes to the fact that this newsletter has no schedule because that’s just how spacetime works.
Why Solitude? Let me be real: I’m by myself most of the time. I’m perpetually single. I’m way too independent. I live in my head. But I also know myself deeply. I have met so many of my shadow-selves and we are all dear friends now, who vision board together with charcuterie boards and bespoke candles.
Stay tuned for a 2024 recap later this month. I will begin with finances: what I made, how much debt I acquired, and how I continued tapping into a slow flow of money after losing my job.
